2016 in Review
As the year comes to an end, we take a moment to look back over 2016. Thank you to our clients, our partners and our staff for being part of our year at DCODE GROUP. We are lucky to be able to work in an industry and role that we are passionate about and look forward to continuing our developments in 2017. Here are some of the achievements we realised in 2017.
2016 saw the DCODE GROUP team continue to expand. Our team of developers, designers and front-end coders is growing year on year - bringing more experience and capability to our team. We also added to our marketing and search engine optimisation services and are now providing on-going assistance to clients in maintaining their online presence.
We found a new home for DCODE GROUP in Abbotsford, Melbourne. And the new office continues to provide a fantastic environment to enhance collaboration with our team and our clients. As we look forward, the office is ready for our continued growth in 2017. If you're in the area, pop-in to say hello!
On the sofware front; we continue to offer Squarespace-based services - from Squarespace adjustments right through to custom templates. Having worked with a wide-range of off-the-shelf solutions; we find Squarespace to be a great platform for businesses looking to enter the online space and a great fit for our business.
Our core offering is custom-software solutions; our ideal project is helping businesses analyse their requirements and then develop a solution that suits their precise requirements (helping to better enhance their unique offerings). And in 2016 we helped even more clients with their custom-online solutions. From staffing solutions; to custom online stores; CRM systems; art gallery management systems; function quoting systems; event management systems; custom CMSs and many more - we worked with a wide-range of clients and look foward to our continued role as our client's needs evolve.
As part of our role in custom-software development, we also work with a number of start-ups - providing specialist development/advise on their software. We continued to work with a number of start-up businesses over the year and it was exciting to help them to launch new features. The work in these start-ups is not dissimilar to work we do on establishing new systems for existing businesses - so we are well placed to provide assistance as required.
2016 also saw us release a number of our own software initiatives - one of these being Defex. Defex is an inspection/task management tool that can be easily adpated to business. It allows "issues" to be identified and located on site drawings/plans - to provide greater clarity over the location/source of the issue. We see these software initiatives as a way for us to continue to learn about technologies while applying our learnings to real-life applications. Through these experiences we hope to continue to learn and evolve our skills - ultimately improving the offer/outcomes for our clients.
As the year comes to a close, we would like to thank you for your continued support in 2016. We are passionate about helping businesses harness software to improve their outcomes and have had some great results in 2016 - we thank our clients and team for woking with us to achieve these great results.
2017 sees the implementation of some exciting new initiatives and the commencement of a number of projects. We can't wait for another year ahead!
