For a long time, I was hesitant to talk openly about Dcode's expansion outside of Australia. There's a perception that international offices - particularly in some regions - are about cutting costs or outsourcing work in ways that compromise quality. But that’s never been our philosophy. At Dcode Group, our focus has always been simple: find exceptional people, and build great teams around them - wherever they are. That's exactly how our Vietnam office began.

It Started With One Exceptional Person

Several years ago, we were introduced to an incredible developer based in Vietnam.

From the moment we started working together, it was clear: his skills, mindset, and commitment to quality were exactly what we look for at Dcode.

Rather than seeing this as a one-off remote relationship, we made a decision: build a team around him, the same way we would if he were based in Perth, Sydney or Melbourne.

We didn't outsource work.

We built a Dcode office - our own space, our own people, all aligned to our culture and standards.

Today, our Vietnam team is an integral part of who we are, working alongside our Australian team to deliver real outcomes for our clients.

We brought some of our Australian team to Vietnam for the first time.

It was an incredible week - full of collaboration, strategy sessions, team-building activities, and shared meals.
It wasn’t just about improving communication. It was about building real relationships that transcend time zones and borders.
