Squarespace launched in 2004 to create an all in one website publishing solution, with the New York based start up offering a service to "make beautiful products to help people with creative ideas succeed". DCODE Group are accredited Squarespace specialists and can assist you in developing your website, like we have for clients such as VISY and Lebent.

Squarespace offers a small yet polished number of templates to help you create and launch a website with a simple-to-use interface.  The platform boasts some of the most trending websites and starts in its customer base and has amassed growing popularity as a website tool.  As accredited Squarespace Specialists, DCODE GROUP has extensive experience with the platform and can help provide customisations or a custom template for use on Squarespace.

Squarespace is a service that exists under the SASS banner (Software as a Service).  For a monthly fee, you can use the services/features provided by Squarespace - while allowing them to manage the hosting, support and software features.  We find that it can be a great platform to launch your business - allowing you to focus on developing your business and gaining an understanding of how it can operate online.

One of the benefits of Squarespace is its wide range of readily available tools that can be easily integrated into your website.  Having said that; there are limitations to what it can provide - and this is how we can help.

We have worked with a number of clients across the globe to develop customised solutions on Squarespace - including the development of features that are not available as standard on the platform.

Recently, we worked with Lebent to create a custom store locator for their website.

A store locator is not on the list of standard features, so instead we used a static file to store the information of the stores then used front-end scripting to read and display store locations.

But maybe you don’t need a store locator. Perhaps you need a multi-level navigation menu, a common requirement for many. Natively, Squarespace supports a single sub-level of menu options. However, as you’ll see below we were able to create a multi level menu for our client, Visy.

By activating developer mode we were able to deploy this concept to make a mega menu. This system has three levels of development; the main navigation bar, sub headings, and then list items under each category. The client has full control over the menu but this is another example of an effective custom solution.

Squarespace is a great option to help you establish an online presence for your business.  If it suits your requirements, it can offer a tremendous head-start to your website development.  Working with a specialist such as DCODE GROUP can help you to understand what Squarespace is capable of and how it can be adjusted to suit your requirements - ensuring you maximise the impact you have with your online users.
